Common questions, answered.

How long will it take for my order to ship?

In-stock orders placed before 6 AM EST will typically ship the same business day. In-stock orders placed after 6 AM EST will typically ship the next business day. In-stock orders placed after 6 AM EST on a Friday or over the weekend will typically ship the following Monday.

Your order will ship once all pieces in the order are ready to ship. (If you have both in-stock and made-to-order pieces in your order, you can request to ship ahead the in-stock pieces by contacting the Concierge team).

Due to high order volumes, in limited circumstances, please allow up to 3 business days for in-stock orders to be shipped.

A lead time for every Jane piece is included on the product page (right below the navy blue "Place in Bag" button), the cart (on the lead time banner and under the product name), the checkout page (under the product name), and in your order confirmation email (under the product name) so you know exactly how long to expect for your order to be shipped before you place it.

Once your order is dispatched, how long it takes to deliver depends on the destination and the shipping method selected at checkout (jump to the next FAQ for more information).

How long will it take for my package to be delivered?

Jane offers three domestic shipping services (Ground, Express, and Overnight) to the Continental U.S. and territories (as well as all P.O. boxes) and two international shipping services (International Economy and International Express) to over 186 countries around the world.

To view the estimated speed based on the shipping method you selected at checkout, please click here.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email which will contain a link to track your package.

Actual delivery dates cannot be guaranteed and are subject to circumstances beyond our control, including delays by the shipping carrier, inclement weather, and other factors.

What does “In Stock” vs. "Made to Order" mean?

“In Stock” means an item is already made and ready to ship directly to you.

"Made to Order" pieces must be made after purchase (in accordance with the lead time listed on the product page).

Where is the product lead time shown prior to purchase?

We want you to know exactly what to expect before placing your order. The lead time for every Jane piece is displayed in several places throughout your shopping experience:

  • On the product page: Right below the navy blue “Place in Bag” button.
  • In your cart: Both on the lead time banner and directly under the product name.
  • At checkout: Again, displayed under the product name for your confirmation.
  • In your order confirmation email: Clearly listed under the product name.

Additionally, when a product has an extended lead time, you’ll see a popup consent message before adding it to your cart to make sure you’re fully aware before proceeding.

Our priority is to ensure you always know exactly how long to expect for your order to be shipped before you place it.

Does an expedited shipping method mean my piece will be produced faster?

No. The shipping method selected at checkout (such as Express or Overnight) does not expedite or affect the production time of a Made to Order piece. All pieces have their lead time listed prior to purchase, so be sure to check the product page before completing your order.

Is a signature required for my delivery?

A signature is not required for orders valued under $1,000 USD.

A signature is required upon delivery for orders valued over $1,000 USD.

Please note that a signature may still be required at the carrier's discretion for orders valued under $1,000 USD.

Will my gift order include a packing slip where the price of the items are shown?

The packing slip does not include any pricing. We place a packing slip in each shipment that contains the client information and a list of the items within the package for security purposes.

To request an invoice, please contact the Concierge team who would be pleased to email you the order receipt.

Kindly note that while we do not include any pricing within our shipments, some international jurisdictions and/or shipping carriers require customs documentation be placed on the exterior of the package for importing purposes that may contain pricing.

How will my Jane order be packaged?

Every Jane creation is artfully enclosed in our magnetic presentation box, adorned with the Jane logo in silver foil for a trademark touch on the top as well as our brand mantra inscribed on the interior. Nested inside each box is also a signature suede jewelry pouch, which can be reused for years to come as a keepsake for storing your Jane (or other small accessories). Pendants, studs, and bands will be tucked into specially sized compartments. Oversized creations will be placed in the pouch.

A recyclable envelope embossed with the Jane wordmark houses a packing slip, care recommendations, and a complimentary polishing cloth. The packing slip, for gifting/security purposes, is a gift receipt and never contains pricing information.

If you elect to add our White Glove Gift Wrapping, your presentation box will arrive carefully hand-tied in our signature navy blue satin ribbon emblazoned with the Jane logo, which unfurls with one gentle pull to reveal the extraordinary creation within. This is carefully nested within a recycled cotton drawstring bag, another luxurious memento that can be reused for years to come as a keepsake for storing your Jane.

You can also add a gift note to your order by clicking the "Add Gift Note" button in the Bag (right above the "Check Out" button). All our gift notes are beautifully handwritten (not printed) by a Jane attaché for your recipient, with our compliments, on a house notecard.

For security purposes, high-value shipments will be dispatched in a discreet, non-branded shipping box.

All our packaging is sustainably sourced and prioritizes recycled content, consistent with Jane's single-minded dedication to put environmentally conscious practices at the heart of everything we do.

Are customs, duties and/or taxes included for international shipments?

For international orders, prices and shipping fees do not include Import and Customs Duties, Value Added Taxes (VAT), tariffs, brokerage or other fees that may be levied by the destination country. Jane is not responsible for these fees, nor for customs-related delivery delays. If Client refuses delivery due to government-required costs from the destination country, incurred costs to return the package to Jane are the responsibility of Client. Client is the importer of record and must comply with all laws, regulations and restrictions of the destination country.
