What does Made to Order mean?
Made to Order means this piece is crafted custom for you after your order is placed (rather than being immediately ready to ship). As soon as it is completed, it will be shipped to you.
When will my Made to Order piece ship?
Each Made to Order piece has an estimated lead time clearly noted on the product page so you know approximately when to expect it to ship before purchasing.
Can I expedite a Made to Order piece/receive it sooner?
We typically provide the most accurate estimated lead times possible for each Made to Order creation. However, in limited cases, we may be able to accommodate a faster production timeline depending on the style, materials, and order volume in our Atelier.
If you need your piece sooner, please contact us with your desired timeline before placing your order. We’ll do our best to assist and let you know whether an expedited timeline may be possible.

Made to Order pieces or styles marked as Final Sale are not eligible for return/exchange. A $20 restocking fee will apply per return/exchange for insured return shipping. Learn more →
Processing Time
In-stock orders placed before 6 AM ET ship same business day; after, next business day. Made to Order pieces follow the stated lead time. Mixed-availability orders ship when all items are ready. Jane does not ship on weekends or U.S. federal holidays. Expedited shipping does not expedite the required production and processing periods. Learn more →
Insured Shipping
Your order will be shipped with with insured shipping. All shipments $500+ requires a signature upon delivery. Client is responsible for any costs associated with a package returned to Jane due to several failed delivery attempts. Actual delivery dates cannot be guaranteed and are subject to circumstances beyond our control, including delays by the shipping carrier, weather events, and other factors. Learn more →
Customs, Duties & Taxes
For international orders, prices and shipping fees do not include Import and Customs Duties, Value Added Taxes (VAT), tariffs, brokerage or other fees that may be levied by the destination country. Jane is not responsible for these fees, nor for customs-related delivery delays. If Client refuses delivery due to government-required costs, incurred costs to return the package to Jane are the responsibility of Client.
